Our beautiful venue needs a loving hand to get ready for the long, kinky winter evenings. So we’re inviting our lovely community to lend a hand for some hours or the whole weekend.

Remember Jack Nicholson in The Shining - “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”?
Well we do, and we agree! So on Saturday night, all the hard working people will celebrate a job well done with a play night.

Join us for the first House of Play Community Weekend - it’s also a great opportunity to get to know new people from the community and the crew. And House of Play provides lunch and soft drinks both days.

SATURDAY Oct 26th
Work 11-18, including lunch

Play 20-24 (or until we drop)

We start the Play Night together with a ritual to transform us from working bees to playful souls, and to build a warm atmosphere and connect with each other before we dive into the night.

SUNDAY Oct 27th
Work 11-18, including lunch

You don’t need to be a handyperson to join. We have lots of both simple and more demanding tasks that need to get done. Some of them are:

- Hang a chandelier and other lighting in the lounge to make it even cosier
- Install shelves in the lounge for books and flyers, where the large, broken mirror used to be
- Install a drawer unit in the kitchen
- Hang curtains in front of the elevator to prevent drafts
- Hang speakers on the walls in both large rooms
- Hang curtains in The Studio, so the room can be used for private sessions
- Hang pictures on the walls in The Studio
- Paint some walls, a floor, and some stairs
- Help with practical tasks like preparing lunch etc.
